For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. What Are We Doing?
We are supporting Bible translation in Southeast Asia. John does computer support and linguistic programming in the SIL office. There are about 200 members assigned to this area, so he keeps very busy! He has also been doing a lot of help and upgrading of the computers at one of our training centers. It borders a closed country and is pivotal to the work there. He is also the Field Security Officer. Kimberly is the Associate Director of Support Services. Her responsibilities include managing our people in a support role ~ international school teachers, counselors, finance, etc. She also acts as a liason between SIL and the International schools in our region and gives encouragement and support to home school families. Both John and Kimberly are learning Thai and forming relationships with Thai neighbors.
